Bill will be there with his T4 and I will have my 2wd. There are usually 2wd short course so there should be a class for you.

cool! im comin from orlando and never raced in my life or been to strickland. if you see a red white and blue stadium truck its me! say hi! any tips i should know about registration and or anything? thanks guys!

Nothing too complicated. Just show up with your car, radio (important!), batteries, and charger and you should be good to go. Registration will end between 8:30 and 9 so we can get the qualifiers started.
Please don't turn on your radio if you are running AM or FM until you talk to the booth to see if someone else is running on your channel. You'll also need to borrow a house transponder, but we'll explain that process to you when you get there.

does it matter that im running a brushless? prolly wont fit into a stock class because of motor right? i have 2.4 so no worries

Nah. This is a regular club race so there shouldn't be any complaints. We will most likely run all the 2WD vehicles (including Slash) in one class and the 4WD trucks/buggies/Slashes separate.
One other thing to consider is having an extra battery. There will be plenty of time between heats to recharge, but the gap between the last qualifier and the main may be shorter than an hour.

one battery per car is all ya need, takes 25 min to charge a lipo.
