Track Work
Guest_
We are gonna be out there tonight at 6PM 7/17 working on the track for the race Sunday, there is not a lot to do but I could use a few hands. Also Al Weathers had a issue with some Medication and it caused a seizure. He seems ok on the phone but might be out for a few days. So wish him well and if any of you can drop him a line and let him know your thinking of him. He is a good old man, we need more people in this world like him.

Thanks Chris for making the effort to come and help, now unfortunately with the rain, there might be a lot more to do in less time. If someone who has keys can go look at the track today and let me know the condition so we can discuss what to do about the race and or race preparations. If not Ill be there tonight but its Friday and i cant stay very long.

I gave Al a call today. He is doing better according to his family, but from the sound of it he's still in the hospital.

I can probably help out tonight for a couple of hours. Just please give me a call or post when you know more about the conditions etc...

ok the track is perfect for tilling and packing RIGHT NOW however its not gonna happen. If we get a few people willing to help work on Saturday we will be fine. If we don't, the track will have some rutes in it on sunday and will not be good for anything other than Truggy. So if you would like to race and practice on a decent track for the next few weeks please call me and let me know tonight 386-212-8060, my phone will be OFF just leave a msg. and we will meat up in the AM. at the track.

Awesome work on the track, guys. For those who don't know, Osteen, Bobby, Bobby's heli pilot (sorry, forgot your name), Chris, Felipe, and a few others showed up yesterday in the blistering heat and resurfaced over half the track. They spent 8 hours to make sure we could run today after the rains tore it up.

Thanks a bunch!
